First blog post, a year and a half after I created the blog site. Guess I’m just shy (mostly just couldn't think of an appropriate and fairly unique title for the blog. I don't think there is anything unique in the world anymore, and I have always had a hard time coming up with titles).
Had an up and down kind of day- after thinking we hadn’t had any major financial set backs for awhile, so we might be back on the right track, the washer stops working and the tub starts leaking. Money down the drain. Had to have some retail therapy, so off I went and scored 3 pairs of pants for under $20 altogether. I did feel better after that, especially since these pants represent my weight loss from the last year, down from a 4x to a 2x. Wish that followed regular math logic and meant I had lost half of myself, but no, that is not the case. Got home and had a Christmas check in the mail, with a note the sender won’t get a chance to see me this holiday season. Good news, bad news, the story of my life.
